Dumb question: what are these for? Can these be used for non-24v swap guys?

They're stock M20 temp sensors for the gauge cluster rethreaded smaller to fit the threaded holes in M50 heads.

I've got a question, do these have 1 or 2 pins? I seem to recall E30 senders having just 1 pin, and brown tops, but I was at the junkyard the other day and there were 2 M20's each with 2 pin sensors. So now I'm confused.

The 2 pin ones are for either Early models or for the ECU.

            correction, m52 & s52 heads.

If you take a look right underneath intake port # 2 you'll see where it goes.

This is the sensor arrangement on the M50/S50 heads

The OBDII heads, for the most part only have one port for the sensor and another for the coolant to circulate into the TB...however since Dave has tapped these you can get rid of the coolant line and use this sensor in its place therefore removing the need to run an adapter or tapping the head.

Bump for a good guy and good deal.

So just to clarify this goes in the port for the throttle body heater? I may need one.
