FS: S50'd 87 325is Alpine white, Recaro speeds, HR race, B&B, etc...

I've been kicking this idea around for quite some time now and at this point in my life being in school with no garage, and not a ton of time to devote to the car I have decided to sell my E30 and focusing on my education. I've owned and loved this car for 8 years and this is crazy to even think about, but I know that i will always be able to build another one. I'm at a point in my life where there are more important things than owing a badass car and needing to have a second car to DD.

This is an old thread revived, all bold text is up to date, non bold items remain the same. Skip to the last page to view current posts. Car is still for sale.

-Shifter carrier needs to be modified. The car shifts without issue, but in 5th gear the shift lever rubs the console cutout.
-miscellaneous bulbs (one fog, one tail, one brake light if i recall correctly)
-Rust, drivers side door and fender, passenger side quarter panel, a little in the usual trunk places.

The swap has about 10k miles on it, including a cross country drive. I literally drove this car from NY to WA without issue. Its very solid. However it is by no means a show car. It handels like a dream, and is about as fun as anything I've ever driven. Please don't bash my car, i just want it to go to someone who can devote the proper time and some money to make this car a real heart stopper. I just have neither the time nor money at this time in my life.

Car is located in Lawrence, Kansas

    Price is $7000obo.

Pics (SSRs are sold, its on weaves now)

Damn dude, only 8 hours away and 40 bucks worth of diesel. Too bad this didn't come up next summer. For my sake I hope you keep it. For the money, I hope you sell. Good luck!

This is my dream E30. Alpine coupe with black interior and an S50. Mmm. Trade for M50 5-lug sedan?

Tempting, as I do love 24v and 5 lug. However, red isn't really my color and my heart is kind of set on something that is well maintained and stock, or close to it. A modded car just begs me to push it further, and with all the 5 lug wheels and 24v goodies I could see myself spending way too much money. Not to mention I don't have the heart to let a car someone has put a lot into become a boring DD that lives on the street.

I figured that would be your response, but I just had to ask anyway. I've lusted after an alpine 24v car for sooooo long that I thought maybe there would be a chance. My M50 car is my boring daily, so don't feel bad about that!

Anyway, enough hijacking. Good luck with the sale! I hope it goes to a good home. If I sold my car, I would definitely snag this!

Could you post some more pictures of the rear seat delete and maybe describe how you did it? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to clutter the thread, but it would probably only help with the sale. The car looks great!

                          Thanks and GLWS!

I'll get more pics up later, but I used a peg-board material(one without the holes) made a cardboard template, cut it with a jig saw then wrapped it in a black faux suede. It actually looks really good and was relatively cost effective. I used double sided velcro to hold it in place and also so it can easily be removed and replaced with seats.
