Wrong. There is a truly black carpet from the factory.

There is an oem carpet available in black. You can buy it at pelican, and the dealer. I have personally saw it in a few cars, Ed (Egk2), had it in his red coupe.

I don't know about Pelican parts, but if you buy a carpet from the dealer then the darkest you can buy is anthracite. I have read on the forums that someone claimed South Africa had OEM black carpet, but I've never seen a part number and never seen a picture of this OEM black carpet.

Of course, if you know someone who has it then it shouldn't be hard to post an item number and price. Or you know you could take it to a discussion thread instead of my for sale thread...

It looks like the berber carpet that came in m42 cars. But it's a lot darker than mine was. Maybe because yours isn't as faded.
