    s52 bolt-in exhaust headers?

Are either of these what I want? If so, which? I bought one a while back and it was a direct fit with no spacers / modification, but I can't remember which it was. :)

    Thanks!

from what I understand either will work, however the shorties are a bit easier to get into the car.

The 2 piece headers need Treehouse CAB's while the single piece units need an engine mount spacer to clear the subframe/swaybar.

Define "bolt-in". Neither of those will bolt onto a stock e36 downpipe/midsection without modication.

i meant would clear the subframe and just need to be welded to the rest of the exhaust.. sounds like the one i wanted was the long tube two-piece ones?

This is correct. I think kalibOy sells the spacers if you want to use the single piece long tube headers.

I have the 4 piece ones shown there. Fit is excellent, acres of space. I have the Treehouse CABs installed.

I'm curious to see the set that Guten is working with. Have they listed a price yet?

$270 from what L was telling me, Schmiedmann is the brand iirc.

running 2 piece ebay headers just shimmed the passenger side mount with 1 washer. Another alternative is to ding the subframe a bit.

I have the one piece Racelands and I needed treehouse CABs, I also had to beat my subframe in a bit.

I am pretty sure I got the V1.0 racelands though since my header flange holes didn't line up with the studs on the head worth a shit. That is some hard ass fucking stainless to drill BTW. I broke a Snap-on cobalt bit drilling it out.
