US Ellipsoid Non smilie - Euro Smileys w City Light Wiring?

Is there a straightforward wiring for this? The Euro's have 3 plugs with 2 wires each and the Ellipsoids have 2 pairs of 2 wires. How are the Cities supposed to work? I would greatly appreciate help on properly wiring these up. Thanks in advance

since my car has euro trim, i have my city lights wired up directly to my sidemarkers.

what most people do is splice into the sidemarkers and have a set of wires going to the city lights while retaining the wires that go to the sidemarkers.

this will allow you to have the city lights on when the parking lights are on.
    it will look like this:

(this is not my picture, will remove upon request)

as for the three plugs, those are for high, low, and city lights. but im sure you already know this.

if you wish to have the city lights on without having to turn on the parking lights, then you will have to wait for someone else to respond because i am not familiar with that method.

    EDIT:

this write-up is pretty straight forward and should give you an idea on what you have to do.

Thanks this really helps a lot. Now I guess my next question is am i able to keep the city lights on while the care is running normally? Do the side markers only stay on when in park? TIA

with the splicing into the sidemarkers method you will be able to keep the city lights on whenever you have the parking lights on. the parking lights are when you pull the knob once (the low beams are not on at this point, if they are you have pulled the knob out twice)

it doesn't matter what gear you are in or even if the car is on or off. you will be able to use the city lights at all times.
