Got this from a car off CL, the owner replaced the head with a new casting since timing belt destroyed original head, new rockers. Engine had an electrical fire.

AMC head? That doesn't look like stock BMW head. -
not AMC, ive had a few of those and have seen the differences, especially the intake ports being hogged out.Comment

nope, it doesnt have one! ;)
It would be where the "made in w germany" casting is.
It is an 885 head however, not a 200 or 731 casting head (i wish).
Looking back i remember having a couple of these over the years somehow.Comment
