    Thelma - Budget Beater 91 318 4 door

Well, I was just browsing CL one day when I spotted this gem. Shes a 91 318i with 242k on the clock and still running strong.. Just a little rough around the edges.

    When I picked her up

The previous owner hit some things, and supposedly a tree fell and smashed the windshield.

I quickly began tearing into this thing, but was too busy being pissed and frustrated to take pictures...

After day one, convertible JOM coilovers were installed, along with other odds and ends I had left over from my old car.

I then put on my old boyd wheels, and again had to modify my caliper brackets to get them to spin without issue

just messing around with the bmw hubcaps I had, looks surprisingly not bad ;)

    3/21

Now it sits on these 17's (Notice how good the rear sits here... This is before I had to raise the rear up due to horrible rubbing issues.. haha) I'll update this thread with some real pictures of progress sometime. Too busy atm

    Much more parts to come...

I fucking love those wheels. Let me know if you ever want to trade/sell them, whatever.

WOW!!! This is by far the best look imo. Ive been tossing around how to get this look without doing 14"ers. Do they fit snug?
