only late model
I just need the motor which I just found out is standard for all models. That being said do you have one and how much shipped to 75052.
i have late model motors, if you want to try that that is fine, 20 shipped
pics are in link below

After attempting to fix the jammed motor I realize I need a new regulator without a motor. I purchase a regulator and it only comes with the frame and no gear:

So question: Is the motor this

OR this

mcruz121 BEWARE

This all started on 04/20/12 when Matt responded to my ad on r3vlimited the exact link is http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...php?t=246114He asked if I had a passenger side window regulator for his car.

I said let me check and get back to you which I did stating that it was not removed from the door just yet. So he asked for a picture on 04/22/12 to verify if it was the correct one, I had an old picture on my photobucket account from a previous one I have sold back in the day so I sent him that picture and explained to him this is the regulator but the window motor is not included (which he stated he did not need)

Picture Link: http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...0/000_5235.jpg

And like I said before to Matthew that the motor was not included.

So Matthew paid on 04/24/2012 and I accepted $40.00 I was able to ship his item out via a UPS center in my local Staples on Monday 04/30/12 tracking # 1Z5AR1480350850789 and was confirmed delivered by UPS on 05/03/12

Matt sent me a PM leaving his phone number and asking me to call him stating that I did not include a part with the window regulator. I called him and we talked on the phone but he did not for some reason want to believe that the item I sent him was complete I provided him with links to which he basically ignored.

I said this is what a complete window regulator is: http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro...0217@Window%20

Regulator # 51331906966 is exactly what I sent him only the one I have was a used part and not new. It escalated to the point were he was arguing with me basically telling me I was the ONLY one that sells a regulator this way and that a part of the "WINDOW MOTOR" should have still remained attached.

When I tried explaining to him "What you really wanted was the complete motor"?

A complete motor looks like this off of www.bavauto.com part # 51 33 1 386 988

More Links:

Pictures of Brand New/Refurbished Window Motors

Link #1 Check out www.rockauto.com has them (Same pictures as below)

Link #2 http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/...otor+1985+1986

Link #3 http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp?HC1=...=1987&HCM=325e (Brand New)

Matts picture and idea of what a complete window motor should look like but in actuality its incomplete and ONLY a portion of the motor assembly.

He kept insisting I was wrong, so to try and keep him happy I sent him the motor at the cost of shipping at first I wanted $15 for the window motor however I refunded him the difference after shipping costs which were $6.10.

I shipped the motor out on 05/04/12 via usps flat rate priority mail shipping with a delivery confirmation # of 0312 0090 0002 2792 2531 which is scheduled to be delivered on 05/07/12.

I had even sent Matthew a PM on R3vlimited early Friday Morning 05/04/12 stating that I had shipped the motor out to him and provided the delivery confirmation # however for some reason he still ends up filing a paypal dispute on 05/06/12 which I now have to fight for a whopping $40 heck the regulator cost me $24 to ship plus materials not like I was making anything off this item.

Copies of all my receipts:

I guess you just can't talk sense into everyone or please them for that matter no matter what you do. I'm sorry Matt that you think you were right but I clearly shipped you a complete window regulator the first time around and the full window motor on top of it was an added bonus best of luck to you.

So he needed a motor, asked for a regulator...was upset the regulator didnt have the motor...you than went beyond what you needed to do and sent him a complete motor...and he still files a dispute.

.....

He should reimburse you what you laid out for his ignorance.

I dont understand what the poll is for? You asked for a regulator and got a regulator? The motor/gearbox is not part of the regulator. And than that can be further taken apart if need be and the motor be separated from the gearbox.

Quote from your thread

"After attempting to fix the jammed motor I realize I need a new regulator without a motor. I purchase a regulator and it only comes with the frame and no gear"

You purchased a regulator and got a regulator, the motor/gearbox is a different part and is NOT part of the regulator. If you had asked for a motor you'd get a motor, if you asked for a gearbox, you'd get a gear box and if you asked for both...youd get a complete motor and gearbox assembled, but you would not get a regulator.

Don't be a noob and next time you need a part or work PM me.
Also yes its TWO parts ....however I would say most people would sell/buy/expect them together if dealing with used parts.

I currently have 6 regulators and motors if you still need one.

What we have here is a failure to communicate. It's not the seller's fault if you failed to specify what you wanted to buy, or to comprehend what he was selling.

^Unless he edited it out, I don't see where the OP blamed the seller here.

Thanks for everyone else understanding where I'm coming from now I'm out lets see a regulator, a window motor and a total of $65 total between what paypal $40 took back from me and what shipping costs of the regulator $25.

I actually laugh at the way the system works lol

That sucks...

Buyer should have been more specific and asked for clarification on what was being shipped. Good guy gets screwed. Always. Definitely a sad situation...

Don't worry though. The most beautiful angel from heaven with the most amazing personality who is tired of getting hit on by bad boys will eventually notice you and fall like the angel she is into your arms. And I'm not kidding you. Nice guys finish last, but they finish best.
