Hello all,
I'm regretting writing this ad as I really do NOT want to sell the car but do to current circumstances I must list it.
The car is back home right now in Tucson, AZ and I'm up here in Colorado Springs, CO until early August... which makes showing the car somewhat difficult, but I am ABSOLUTELY willing to fly down and show off the car to series buyers! The $180 round trip ticket it would cost me to show the car translates to "please don't waste my time and money and serious candidates only". With all that said, I will try to be as accurate as possible and answer as many questions as I can to save us all a headache. Lastly - for now I have crappy pictures of the car :( - I'm hoping my family in Tucson will be able to send me better / more photos by the end of the week. I know this effects the ad, but please all readers bear with me as I'm in another state. Now to the good stuff.
The car is a 1990 e30 M3. Diamant Schwarz. 150k miles on chasis. 90k miles on clean OBD1 swapped s52 motor from an Automatic e36 m3. The tranny is the e36 ZF 5 speed with new OEM clutch. There are lots of goodies on the car and a TON of money has been dropped into the swap. The swap was finished THIS year... all these new parts have BARELY been driven on.

Pretty Much Every Sensor on the motor is brand new. When we did the OBD1 Conversion we did all new crank, cam, knocks, new 3.5'' MAF, temp sensors, throttle position sensor. New Thermostat. New radiator temp switch. New oil pan gasket. New brake pedal sensor. New ABS relay. Belts. New A/C Condenser and Compress, AC is Ice Cold. New Mutsuhito Aluminum Radiator. New motor and Tranny mounts. New Oxygen Sensor. The swap was finished THIS year... all these new parts have BARELY been driven on. The S52 swap went in very clean, especially thanks to the M50Manifold.com kit. All wiring is tucked under the e30 m3 covers - kept clean and out of site. The car pulls strong, purrs, and runs / idles very smooth. I've owned a few e36 m3s and the obd1 swapped e30 m3 is a much different / faster feel.
The Exhaust : was very carefully picked. A lot of e30 s52 swap owners prefer the single 3'' pipe... but the duel 2.25'' setup this car has a very unique and aggressive sound. I've done 3 24 valve swaps now and this has been my preferred configuration.
The interior : Front seats aren't bad, but the rear seat has some stitching that has come undone. The leather itself is great, so maybe someone can re-stitch / repair, I'm not sure. The carpet needs to be replaced, there is one 3'' hole on the driver-side. Currently it is concealed with "M" floor mats, but its there. Dash has cracks. Headliner is in awesome shape. Best part of the interior is the immaculate M-Tech II Steering wheel. I also had custom made "alcantara" shift boot and e-brake set with "M" stitching installed about a month ago.
The Exterior: Needs paint... its the original paint. Generally its not awful, but the roof is a bit sun faded and the spoiler shows a bit of paint peeling as well. I haven't hit it with a buffer yet. The engine bay paint looks great and cleaned up awesome. We lucked out on that part when we decided not to paint the whole car when the bay was empty. Late models look tits
. The body is straight and true except for 1 decent dent in the rear passenger quarter panel. Its not very noticeable, but certainly on the list of things to clean up when the car gets paint. OH and COMPLETELY RUST FREE. Because of the swap I've been in and out and all over... no rust to be found!
Everything works on the car, windows, sunroof, etc. No check engine light, but it is tested and working after the swap. I DO have the ABS light on. I've slammed the brakes to see if the ABS is engaging and it is - I've been told I need to run a 12v line to the appropriate pin in the c101 connector to rid this light. Overall the car is great. We spent a LOT of attention on the swap and mostly non-cosmetic aspects of the car. Our focus and long To-Do list for the car consisted of the driving aspect and sorting out all the little stuff and THEN making the car look the way it should. We just started knocking a few things off the "cosmetic" list, hence the necessary M-Tech 2 wheel. As of now the car needs some paint and a good interior make over before that "list" is pretty much all crossed out.
Well I think that's pretty thorough, but don't hesitate to ask questions - I'm happy to answer.
