I have a 3 month old US plate filler professionally painted sterling silver with 3 coats of base and clear using PPG omni. Great if you want to repaint it since you can use the existing color as a primer. Still very good condition and modernizes the rear of the e30 a bit.
I'd very much want to keep it but my unusually thick shaped college alumni metal license plate frame would eat into the paint if I mounted it on top of the filler.
