    Black River Stages 2012 gravel rally - This weekend!!

    It is that time of year again! Time for blasting through the woods on gravel roads, even plenty of night racing!

    Like last year, I have entered my e30 in this rally. In 2011, out of 43 entries they started me last, how is that for a confidence boost! By the end of the event we were 12 overall, 4th in class! Come out and support us. There are a number of BMW's on the entry list.

    If you want to come spectate or volunteer for the event all info is there.

    Best way to see the event is to volunteer to work. Without volunteers, we would not be able to have a rally!!!

    Hope to see some BMW supporters out there! Be sure to stop by our service area if you make it to the event! You know what they say about rally - Real cars on real roads, real fast.

      Oh man, Steve, I know your car. We are usually there running all sorts of bikes (MAX BMW). Black River Stages is an AWESOME event! Definitely a good time if you want to participate or just hang and watch. Well worth checking out!

                                      But check in the "2012 Black River Stages Galleries" on the NASA Rallysport website, there are plenty more photos to be found, including a bunch of mine taken from screengrabs off our GoPro in-car vids. YouTube videos coming soon...

                                      This one is kind of neat. At dusk the video image is blurred from the speed, except for just the small portion around the photographers nicely frozen by their own strobe. Cool effect.
