Ya, it's unfortunate. You'd spend haft the cost of this lip on gas :/

Any Portland guys making a trip to Seattle that are willing to help us out?
        Would be much appreciated.

I'd be curious to know if this will fit my 89 325iC bumper. I'm located just north of you.

Unless it has the late model valance seen in the pictures, it will not fit.

I just figured out that these cars have bumpers, valances, lips, and splitters as options. I'm used to cars with full bumper covers and then lips. I guess I'll need to find a valance before I find a lip.

                  More or less.

Early cars (1984-1987) had valances, but they were different then the late model ones (cabrios were also set up like this until 1991.) They had a factory air dam that was an option.

Late cars (1988-1991, 1993 for cabrios) have the larger front valance that has provisions for a lip spoiler at the bottom, such as the one pictured for sale here.
