Looking to trade or sell my 1991 318i with M/S50 drivetrain swap.
Name: Theodore Palacino
Contact: PM, email theodore.1959@hotmail.com, or text/call me anytime at (864)-373-1015. I can send more pictures and details upon request.
Price: Asking price is $5800 obo, or straight trade/trade plus cash on your end. I'd really like to see cash, so throw me some offers! I'd be willing to trade for a stock m20 325 with suspension/wheels plus cash on buyer's end.
Contrary to how the car was built, she has NEVER seen the track! It was built to be a fun daily (that could go on the track if you're feeling adventurous)
Suspension/Wheels:
> H&R OE Springs
> Bilstein Sport Shocks
> Poly eccentric rear trailing arm bushings and subframe bushings
> Motorsport front control arms and bushings
> Poly sway bar bushings with M3 rear sway bar
> Cross drilled rotors and Hawk pads, rear bronze slides, braided lines, including clutch line
> Stud kit and 4mm front wheel spacers
> Dforce LTW5 Spec E30 wheels with NEW 225/50/15 tires
> Euro manual steering rack, solid steering guibo, non airbag steering column conversion
Differential:
> 3.45 built differential, 40% lockup, polished gears and spiders
> cryogenically treated internals, Motorsport cover.
Misc:
> Poly engine and transmission mounts
> Complete Air Conditioning delete
> Factory keyless entry
> Rear headrest/armrest leather seat
> Sans OBC display from early model.
> Sans rear window and lockout switch from early model
> 4th "woah nellie" grab handle for driver
> Motorsport lighted shift knob
> Airbag delete with Motorsport 1 wheel
> Euro side trim
> Factory plate frames
> Hella smoked headlamps with 100W bulbs
> Smoked turn signals
Motor:
> 2.8L bottom end, new BMW OE with approximately 60k miles, 2.8L engine is under square and has forged crank.
> 3.0 cylinder head, approximately 30k miles, fully redone by Turners' machine shop in Dover NH.
> All BMW OE hardware and gaskets
> Complete OBD1 harness and peripherals, my preferred for the E30 as it is
> simple, reliable, easy to repair and never breaks.
> Euro HFM, big injectors, Turner Motorsport tuning.
> Top quality fluids used throughout drivetrain at all times.
> OBD2 exhaust manifolds ceramic coated
> Under drive pulleys
> Short shifter, custom made from a bunch of kits, custom upper carrier
> length.
Drivetrain:
> ZF310 manual five speed, new BMW OE with about 50k. *
> BMW OE M3 drive shaft, 50kish.
> EVO3 E30 M3 clutch and flywheel, 20k miles.
> No leaks on any assemblies.
> Dual engine grounds.
> Custom exhaust, dual 2.5 inch pipes with resonators back to a Remus muffler
"NEEDS/WANTS":
> It's not perfect. Ideally it will require a paint job as it is a solid 10
footer, the clear still shines great, but the paint is tired; the body MINOR dings here and there.
> I still maintained the finish as if the car was mint, with regular detailing and wax.
> The car has 3 rust spots, one on the passenger door jamb, the rear tow hook location, and the passenger front fender location. *All are normal E30 rust spots and can be repaired. That is the ONLY rust on the car.
>passenger door handle needs to be replaced
>the fuel tank, lines and clamps were never removed when the swap was done, which is not necessarily critical work. *I have also never serviced the heater box - they never break, but I am disclosing it here. The heater box is also original.
