    1990 325i - S50 - e30 m3 5 lug/brakes, interior

    ---- SOLD ----

OVERVIEW: For sale is a sterling silver 1990 325i with an S50 swap, black E30 M3 interior, E30 M3 5-lug and brake conversion and coil-over suspension.
This is a turnkey swap. Have owned it 3 years, done 2 BMWCCA HPDE weekends with it, never had any issues. Starts every time. Goes like hell (I pull away from 135i's on the straight at the track at altitude)

    Price:
    On ASA AR1s $8000
on orange 3 Piece Fikse FM-10 wheels, $11k.

Car located and kept in my garage in Denver, Colorado.
Shoot me a pm here or email:machianj at gmail dot com

    Chassis:
    · 1990 325i Coupe with about 280k miles on straight chassis
    · Original VIN on all panels
    · VIN: WBAAA1314LEC68925

    Engine/Trans:
    · S50 has about 190k on it from what I was told. Doesn't burn/leak oil.
    · Treehouse brake booster, wiring
    · TRM tuning
    · 5 speed manual (original E30 getrag 260) -fairly smooth
    · Short Shift Kit (type unknown)
    · 3.73 LSD
    · Custom Ireland Eng 4 core radiator
    · Electric pusher fan on thermostat switch
    · Aluminum thermostat housing, metal impeller type water pump
    · Battery in trunk, alternator replaced
    · A/C not installed (have compressor, new dryer and R134 retrofit kit – need lines fabbed [have parts])
    · new valve cover gasket just installed.

    Exhaust ():
    · Stock manifold
    · 49 state cat
    · 3" cat back, magnaflow muffler, twin stainless tips. Deep and loud.

    Suspension/Brakes:
    · E30 M3 Suspension modified for coil-overs –Eibach springs & converted to wheel studs
    · Bilstien shocks, eibach springs 400/600 I think. Rides very stiff. Great on the track. Kind of a like a log truck on the street...
    · Eibach sways that are properly connected to strut housing in front like on M3s
    · Treehouse racing LCAB's
    · IE rear sub frame mounts
    · Front strut bar (generic – aluminum)
    · E30 M3 calipers and rotors, new pads on fronts
    · Braided stainless lines
    · wheel stud conversion
    · new Stoptech street perf pads

    Exterior:
    · I had the back half of the car repainted professionally when I got the fenders flared. Overall its about a 7/10 now, I like things perfect though.

    · Rear fender professionally done to fit my 235/40/17 tires on the 5x120 et20 fikses, they got over an inch of clearance out via hydraulically hammering the rear fender seam/quarter panel.
    · 17X8 ASA AR1 Wheels with 235/40R17 star specs (10%-ish left)-Some curb rash and scratches – about 8/10. These are on it now.
    · genuine MTech1 rear spoiler
    · Clean tail lights
    · no rust and PO replaced sunroof due to bubbles
    · Euro HellaH4 head lights, HID bulbs from DDM (1 highbeam slightly foggy)
    · Clean look with abandoned antenna (was pushed up inside the c-pillar) but reception not too good (see pic for plug in hole on rear quarter)
    Interior:
    · Black E30 M3 Seats (front and rear)
    · Dash was crackless when I got it, has a few starting now though.
    · Near complete tool kit (missing just one tool)
    · Cruise system is there, just not hooked up.
    · 6 button OBC – intermittently works
    · Check panel works 100%, no lights. Just replaced coolant sensor.
    · Died carpet and rear deck (was gray originally)
    · New black //M3 mats/trunk mat from s14.net
    · Working iS map-light rear view mirror
    · Mirror tweeters
    · Power windows and switches all work well
    · Manual sunroof – works well
    · Headliner about 8.5/10

What could be improved and other full disclosure (I don’t want future owner to have any surprises):

    · Miles: (stated from previous owner, I've put 10k on it the 3 years I've owned it)
Although I believe the Carfax number to be pretty close, because the odometer was non-functional when I purchased the car (fixed now), I will have to sell it as “true mileage unknown”. I think it’s safe to say it had between 260 and 270k when I installed the 170k odometer so it’s easiest to just add 100k to what the new gauge reads.
    -Odo reads 182k now

    · Clutch is decent, slight noise when warmed and idling in neutral (throwout bearing, shop told me its fine til the clutch needs to be replaced)
    · Lightened flywheel? or something that makes the throttle very responsive
    · Tires: due for replacement
    · Wheels: – spacers front and rear. Some curb rash and scratches – about 7/10
    · Seats: about 8 of 10 with one nickel sized tear in driver’s bolster (see pics) hasn't gotten worse in the 3 yrs I've owned it. Seam starting to split on top of back seat.

–pretty soft leather. About 8 out of 10 on functioning condition (the rails have slight surface rust, recline etc works great)
    · Stock steering rack, new power steering pump/lines just installed.
    · Throttle cable was replaced w/ e34 one when I bought the car
    · Trim missing on old aftermarket Sony stereo (period correct lol) (marginal to poor sound system all around)
    · No spare tire

Overall, its a great car. I'll be sad to see it go, but I have an e30 M3 w/ an s52 thats practically the same car (though a basket case and nowhere near as clean, but...its an M3) so its time for this one to move on to someone else.
Most of the pics are w/ the Fikses on it, took a few last week w/ the ASA's back on.

    Thanks for looking!

        Bump.

I know a previous owner of this car and can vouch for the current owner's stewardship. This is a great deal. One of the most sorted swaps I've seen. If I had the cash right now it would be in my driveway.
        JOY IS AN E30...

This car is very cool......what is it missing for the AC to properly work? Does it have the condenser installed?

I have the a/c parts, but none of it is installed. The parts have been in a box in the basement since I bought the car.
I assume some hard lines would need to be run and the system charged after stuff was mounted.

I'll give my shop a call tmrw and ask what they'd charge to do it.

FYI, that sound you hear at idle in neutral would be chatter from the lightweight flywheel, not a bad throwout bearing. Free bump for a nice car!

                            lowered price

Bump. $8000 on the ASA AR1 wheels.

Went and found all the A/C parts I had.

Have all the lines, compressor, belt tensioner , r134a conversion stuff and fittings.

Looks like all that is missing is the condensor which looks like it was removed when the new radiator was installed.
