    FS/FT: 1990 Turbo E34 525i 5spd

    Name - Som
Location - Gardena, CA (SOCAL) I'm not willing to ship
Contact info - 347-766-2474 PM or Text only please
Price - $3,500 OBO, the motor and ecu are worth more than this so be reasonable.

Please read the description, additional pictures and links at the bottom!

    Details:
I built this setup to learn about engine tuning. It started out stock and progressed to what you see here. This car's engine was built less than 6k miles ago so you're essentially buying a built motor in a convinient rolling driveable carying case. The car is for sale because I have no time to work on it and would like to focus on other things. I'll throw in my tuning laptop and some extra parts for whoever wins it; new e-brake shoes, flex disk, misc gaskets, etc

    Upgrades:
    - Built 2.7l M20 stroker with 5,776 miles (See engine details below) (CR 8.5:1)
    - Wasted spark ignition
    - Megasquirt 2 engine controller using Goathumper's adapter board
    - 225/60R-15 tires, Fuzion HRi
    - 240cc Bosch Injectors
    - Front strut tower brace
    - Oil pressure sensor readout
    - Boost controller wired out
    - CEL configured to act as shift light
    - New fuel filter
    - Innovate LC-1 wideband O2 sensor

    Engine info:
    - Built by Castro Motorports
    - O-ringed M20 block, 2.7l crank 885 head
    - Turbocharging Dynamics stage 1 clutch kit
    - IE heavy duty rockers
    - IE 272 billet cam
    - IE stainless valves
    - IE adjustable cam gear
    - Metric mechanic beehive springs
    - New rocker shafts
    - New main bearings
    - ARP head studs
    - ARP main bolts
    - ARP rod bolts
    - Head gasket
    - Lower gaskets
    - New gaskets all around
    - CXRacing exhaust manifold
    - Super 60 internal wastegate turbo with ported wastegate
    - piston rings
    - piston pin bushings
    - Oil pan baffle
    - New timing belt
    - Lighter E30 flywheel

    Basics:
    - 1990 Bronzeitbiege E34 525I
    - 5spd manual transmission
    - Tan leather interior
    - Tinted windows
    - Chassis has 243055 mi
    - No AC or Heater

*EDIT* added pictures of the interior to the gallery
*EDIT2* added pictures of the engine bay to the gallery

    Issues:
Suspension is nice and tight (for stock), there is slight oil leak from one of the turbo fittings. It's more of an annoyance than anything as it gets drips of oil on the floor. I've got a garage again now so I can finally get it up on jackstands to get a good look at it. Lastly, the interior has some issues. While the seats, headliner, and dash are ok, 3 out of 4 of the door cards have peeling leather. The driver's-side rear door solenoid stopped working and I converted it to a manual lock. Like I said in the post, I'm basically selling the car for the price of the motor in it.

Someone stance this and enjoy, my wagon was epic to drive 5-speed.

      What's the final drive?

Just out of curiosity, how much power does it put down?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Getting the car on a steady-state dyno and finishing the tune was the last step for me to call this project "finished", I just haven't been able to get it out to one. The goal of the project was to be just under 300hp, I think I'm making around 230-240hp. The car is conservatively tuned rich at the high end of the powerband.
