    FS: 1970 2002 project

were considering letting go of our project car.
it really pains me but with the m3 and tony (marines2060) busy with race cars time is not available.

    build thread : http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=239879
    price: $3000.00
CA title is clean and in hand
    year: 1970
    make: bmw
    model: 2002
    engine: m10 w/ weber carb
    wheels: steelies
interior: is mostly complete, all seats are missing car is gutted and caged
status: car is currently a roller only, engine and interior is all out.
we still have all the removed parts stored and will come with the car.
body work: engine bay is shaved
turbo flares are molded into the body
kamei rep air dam is also molded in
    car has zero rust
    custom cage
borla straight pipe with Ireland engineering long tube headers
    engine is stock
    suspension is stock
car is currently in primer and has been sitting for like 5 months un touched

we have a spread sheet on the car on what we have spent on it.
the car has a ridiculous amount of time into it.
if we cant get a reasonable amount we would most likely just hang on to it.
send me some offers, I just want to see it done even if its not by us

    more pics in build thread.

This is exactly the kind of car I'm looking for, but just don't have the time to put it all together. :(

Just out of curiosity, what sort of price would you be looking at if you put the engine and interior back in and gave it a decent paint job? If that's within my budget then maybe we can work something out.

thats the problem, i dont have time to finish it, if taht was the case i would keep it.
i am not trying to get rid of it for financial reasons of because i need the space, i just dont have the time to work on it, its been sitting for months

Hmm..I'm about to get a house with a garage and need a project. Do you have a ballpark $$ of what you are looking to get out of it?

Around 3k, we're into it a couple hundred more than that plus the 100+ hours

I'd be interested, but I'd have no idea where to get it re-assembled and painted, so couldn't sort out a total price it would cost me to get on the road.

I wish I have time and space for this. Did you btw full up the holes for the trims or did you keep them?
