Location: Virginia Beach
Means of contact: PM
Price: $2200 OBO, let's talk
Description:
1989 BMW 325i - e30 sedan
Alpine
Black interior
odo says 135k miles, I'm sure it's more since it's broken
4 door
m20b25 - SAT compression test as of 6/2/13 - 165, 170, 150, 155, 150, 170
5 speed (recently replaced tranny with a different unit due to a shift fork destroying itself)
oil cooler
e36 comfort seats
no cloth headliner, visors and visor stay are all there however
random strut bar
electric fan wired with ignition
godspeed ebay rad
billy sports
m3 cabs
ebay springs (not 100% if the fronts were swapped since the front rake is high, rear springs are red, fronts look stock black)
uuc short shifter (love this thing)
When I bought the car over a year ago, I performed the following prepping it as my daily:
-wires
-plugs
-cam seal
-timing belt
-waterpump + flush (zerex g-05)
-tranny fluid (redline atf), just realized it doesn't matter since I had the tranny replaced, I don't remember which fluid was used
-diff fluid (mobil 1)
-e36 rack, non-m, non-z with e30tech.com spacers
-cv axles since all four boots were torn
-new stock oem exhaust
-brand new battery as of last month
I've also replaced both fenders with Alpine units as the car came with Bronzit units when I got it. The previous owner informed me that the car was hit on both sides in an accident. When I first got the car, there was no misalignment issues with regards to driving and I haven't had any problems with suspension/arms/steering alignment either. My only gripe is that the two white fenders I installed don't perfectly match the rest of the car in color (fenders may be Alpine I and and the car is Alpine II).
I want to sell this since I literally stopped driving it last october since I knew it would fail VA state insp. I was DDing it 70ish miles a day for about a year. It'd fail due to the reverse light not being wired (forgot to do during tranny swap) and the ebrake not engaging. I also want to sell since I have 4 parking spaces and now currently have 5 cars.
Just trying to be up front with everything. I'm very motivated to sell so if you're interested, let's talk.
One more thing, I also have some parts I've accumulated for this vehicle that are not installed. They CAN be included with the sale if interested. See below for parts. Any posts regarding these parts specifically will be ignored until the vehicle is sold.
ie 3 springs
front shock mounts
rear shock mounts
15mm front spring drop hats
GE (German Engineering on r3v) 1st gen wireless entry key fob system
s52 bare block + head + supporting parts to start a swap
oz millie miglia 15" wheels with not so decent tires
m20 oil filters
foglight blanks
ss brake lines
