Front M Tech 1 question.

Finally sourced an m tech 1 front valance. Question I have is I guess the bumper trim molding that's on my euro bumpers now are different than the m tech 1 molding. And it looks like two of the three m tech pieces are discontinued. Will I be able to get the non m tech trim molding to fit on the bumper with the valance installed?

You, can, but you would be better suited hunting the parts. The trim is essentially "notched" to allow the valance to fit between the bumper and the trim. I can get some in person pics tonight for you...

Ok, the seller who's on here said he has the pieces that came with the kit. But he ordered all new molding for his euro bumpers. And he looked at both and couldn't tell any difference. But he was looking at part #'s and length. Is it possible since BMW discontinued the mtech1 specific front pieces that the ones they all make now are the mtech? Also he said the fog lights can be ordered from ecs. $100 a freaking side... Nothing cheap about this project.

What sate is the seller from? Some one on R3V just had his MT1 car stolen, so Im on the look out for people selling MT1 parts. If hes from Oregon the parts could be stolen.

Ok do I have to do anything with my us valance currently under my euro bumpers to fit the mtech 1 front valance? or does it just fit over it? I know I need to cut one of my towing hooks.

And will these fogs work?

You'll have to notch the US valance to clear the fog lights.

Ok notch the us valance. Suposedly the lights will fit without having to buy the brackets right?

With as much as you are doing to bring that car back, do you really want to half ass it?

Valance can be had for about $70-100, and set of fogs used for maybe $150. You can notch it, but then you'll always know it's partially done.

That's what sucks lol. The car isn't a cream puff. It's just been cleaned up a lot. If you look at the car in person you will see multiple imperfections. I'm just trying to get this god damned mtech 1 kit on and it's getting flat out waffles rediculous how much $$$ it's taking. Oh well lmao. I hear ya though, I don't like half assing it. Never have. So what valance do I need to buy then?

I noticed a German car with an mtech 1 front that had fog deletes. I'll see if I can post a pic of it from my phone somehow. Wonder how I get those. That would save me some coin and I think it looks good.

Ok I bought some used e30 M3 fog lights, look just like these.
Question I have is there is two holes on each side of the M tech 1 valance that look like where the fogs mount into since there are stubs or whatever on each side of the fog housing. Is this right?
