      Shortly after re-assembling the motor (about 5K miles), the headgasket blew out between 1&2 and 5&6.
      Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

                    What a great deal! Any motor I bought I'd tear down anyway, so the disassembled aspect I would consider a plus! Someone should jump on this!

                      can put together a package with e34 oil pan and required intake manifold, $1300. Also s50 has dr.vanos stage 2 cam gears and a brand new timing chain from the last time i rebuilt.

                      decided to part out my e34, so parts are coming from that car to complete motor.
