FS: NJ-87 Alpine Weiss 325es 5 speed coupe

I really hate to do this, since its not something i want to do... but with my time schedule and having other things to worry about... i would rather see the car go to someone who will give the car ALL the attention it needs.

1987 Bmw 325es, 5 speed coupe, alpine weiss on cardinal red, 192xxx
i bought the car about two-three months ago with intentions of it being my daily with a little bit of maintenance work, but i bit off more than i could chew. Anyway, after dumping a lot of money into the car, she's at the point she should be.

Heres a run down of the car:
Body is 9/10. Basically no rust minus one spot on the underside of the rear bumper, and two small surface spots on the sunroof. The body is straight as an arrow, paint is still beautiful. The interior is cardinal red. drive side seat is worn, and so is passenger seat. no rips/tears in any of the seats. Just faded. Front & rear door cards are perfect. Dash is cracked , and the cluster needs a rebuild. Has a short throw shifter, other than that the car is completely stock.

    NEW:
    timing belt w/ tensioner
water pump w/ idler [obviously all gaskets]
    muffler
    valve cover gasket
    valve adjustment
    all around brakes w/ sensors
    tires
    plugs & wires
    rocker shaft plugs
    various hoses
    intake bellow/boot
    afm
    icv
    all belts
    oil pump
    new brake lines
    fuses/relays/sensors
there more I've replaced, but can't think off the top of my head.

I got the car in august, and it broke a month later. cranked, but would not start. I finally made some time to bring it to my friends shop, and a week later… she's running amazing. Hesitation is gone, goes through every gear no problems, and starts up with no issues. Turned out that the whole issue was related to the wiring for the most part. Anyway, the wiring is sorted out and the only thing the car needs at this point is suspension [ which i will do if no one wil buy her ] and a cluster.

i have paperwork for everything done, bought, etc.

    Located in NJ.

    $3000 obo.

I really dont want to, but ive got other things to worry about now. I rather it go to someone who is gonna finish the car and appreciate it instead of it sitting at my house doing nothing

That's a shame, one of my favorite color combos, you are going to be hard pressed to find someone to buy it at that price with those issues, usually wiring/electrical issues run people away like the plague.

Good luck though, I would like to see it saved!

Your car has more power to the wheels than it had at the crank brand new off the showroom floor.
