I have designed armrest for e28 sports seats and had every intention to offer them to my e30 brothers and sisters. Only to find out that it's a bit too tight between the seat and tunnel for the lower end of my design. I will be in DC working at Sibley Memorial and need to put my hands on an e30 to redesign the lower portion of the bracket. Please stop by the 5 series for sale forum and take a look. I know I can't live without armrests, and those of you who purchase them will wonder how you lived without them.

Here are the armrest brackets that will allow you to install e28/e23 or e34/e32 armrests. The fit and position is very natural. These will be available thru me for $75.50 per set shipped. The armrest used in this application is from an e34. The fit and look was far superior to that of the e28/e23 unit. These armrests have four lower positions and fold all the way back to be out of the way. In addition, the number of e34s in the yard is growing daily so scoring a set will be easy. These will work with e30 sports and comfort seats. All interested parties can send funds to me via paypal at amartt@yahoo.com. where does this attach? Is there any cutting required? Can you post pictures of the bracket by themselves? thanks!

Saw the most on mye28 but didn't realize they would work for an e30... save a set for me, when are you back in mass?

These brackets piggyback over the seat belt receptacle and share the same bolt. No drilling, cutting or fab. There will need to be a slight flex toward the seat, but that will be seat specific and to the owner's taste. All in all its a 40 minute job start to finish both seats, and a 1 on a scale of 1-10. They are about 85% the same as the e28 units. I will post pictures in the morning.

These are unfinished. Purchased units will look like the second picture, e28 units. No mounting hardware need for e34 armrest. The lower bolt on the armrest will have to be shaved.

Here is the scoop. I work in DC, live in South Boston VA.
The second batch of e30 units were finished yesterday and are at the waterjet cutter.
Unfortunatey, my mother who now lives with me has flu-like simptoms, so I will not be going home this weekend. I'm a medical professional contractor and can't risk having my contract wanked if I get what she has.

I hope you are ok with this delay. I'm sure I'll be able to get these off next weekend.....

I'm definitely interested, and you'd have me for sure if you packaged these with a clean set of black armrests. Shoot me a PM or email if you come across another set.. I'll probably have to hit the yard next week to see if I can find some. Just doing a quick image search, it seems the armrests were optional?

I suppose you mean how tightly they can sit against the seat? The brackets appear quite thick, it might be a struggle to bend them. I'd like to see a set on sport seats.

Also, photos from the back seat view would be nice, like how you documented the E28 version. I'm curious how they look around the attachment point.

Get your customs e30 armrest brackets. Armrests not included. The armrests pictured are e34/e32 units. Brackets will also accept e28/e23 units. At the moment I have pearl beige and pacific blue cloth e28/e23 armrests and a set of dove gray e34 armrests that will dye just about any color. $75.50 for the armrest brackets, $102.50 for armrests and and brackets.
