    Recommendations on bushings

Looking to replace all the bushings on my car (except for motor, trans, and the sway bars) and was wondering anyone had any recommendations. The other question I had is what would that cover? I wanted to make sure that I purchase all of them in one go so I don't have to reorder later because I missed something.

So far I've looked at Powerflex and Revshift. Powerflex seems to have everything but is considerably more expensive, and Revshift is cheaper but it looks like they only have a kit that covers the rear (diff, arms, etc).

Any info would be greatly appreciated, I'm trying to change out everything and freshen up the beast in one go.

Frankly, you're going to get a lot of opinions, none o which should be considered "wrong" or "right". You need to be aware of the harshness ratings of different urethane and what you think you can tolerate.

    Here's a good starting point .... http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=133400

As SkiFree mentioned, there are a lot of opinions, since everyone is looking for different stuff and when you are 30+ you dont like the back breaking ride that 16-20yr old likes.
if you want to retain resale and if it's a street car. just replace with rubber. if you are autoxing then you may want to beef it up a hair but even still rubber isn't as bad as you may thing. now if you plan on tracking all the time and autoxing 2x a month you will want the firm ride. now if you hit a pothole your balls will break.

with poly you also get mad squeaking, so be ready for that. personally i love akg's or IE's stuff but i am looking at other options such as what Ground-Control makes to give a stiff ride without the squeaking. Im still wanting someone to find a good option for TABs. Also be ware that if you beef something up, you may need to reinforce the chassis or subframes.

boils down to what you are looking for. do you want a track car or do you want a street car?

SkiFree hit the nail on the head. It really depends what you want out of your ride. Do some research and order accordingly.
Advice on installation. When going urethane use lots of lube! You don't want squeaks down the road. Also make sure you use the right lube as the wrong stuff will destroy your bushings. I think it's the silicone lubricant you want to stick with, but double check. Most bushings come with a small amount of the right stuff, but it's not always enough.

I've done poly before to a few cars I've owned and loved the night and day feel. I'm 28 and though I've matured quiet a bit towards cars I still put my personal comfort last...haha.

It was easier getting poly kits in the past because I had Hondas or Nissans at the time. All it required was buying a $200 complete kit. Then I'd go to a shop and have them install it, there was no way I was going through the pain of it myself.

The car is going to be a daily/ weekend racer for now. It'll most likely be a track only car in a couple of years. The focus is more on hillclimb racing.

Ok. Seriously consider the Condor Speed Shop UHMW bushings. I just out them in my e30 and love them. Keep the engine and trans bushings urethane, but do everything ells with condor bushings. If it is going to be a weekend fun car/future hill climb car do this now, and save your self the trouble later.
I would not recommend the Condor parts for a DD car as they do makes things louder because they dont soak up vibrations like rubber and urethane do. How ever for a weekend autox fun car that will be a hill climb car in the future they will be perfect!

The guys that make these are also e30 enthusiasts and use the money they make to race their cars ;)

I run the condor stuff on my dd and they work great! I've had them for 10k miles so far and have had zero issues with them.

No but call blunttech, he is distributing them. I actually just got condor tranny mounts from him a few weeks ago.
