    FEELER WTS: 1991 BMW S52 318is slicktop

    SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Not sure if I really want to sell this car, but if I get an offer I like I might bite.

For this reason, lets just say my listing price is SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

    Anyway, here are the details

    Specs:
    1991 BMW 318is
    117,000 original miles
    5-speed ZF320
    2.93 LSD
    Slicktop (no sunroof)
    Brilliantrot ext.
    Cloth int.
Completely refreshed suspension (every component in front)
Bilstein struts/shocks & H&R race springs (LOW miles)
Blunttech SSK & all new shifter components to go with it
    CRACK FREE DASH
TR Motorsport C1s with NEW kumho ecsta rubber
Car was undercoated at some point for rust protection
DJ Auto smileys with halogen bulbs
    Euro grilles OE BMW
    Euro plate filler OE BMW

    Swap information:
Over $2500 in parts alone for the S52 refresh (not including the S52 + trans itself)
New piston rings and rod bearings, rehoned and much more..
Original S52 head with M20 temp sensor fitted to it
    OBD1 conversion
RK Tunes chip on 413 DME
Stainless ebay headers into a single pipe, double magnaflow setup. Single out
    HAS power steering
    CAN provide receipts proving purchases
Engine assembled by a local BMW engine builder (typically deals with turbo setups)
New valve seals in head, ported exhaust side out, cleaned intake side
New clutch, pressure plate, low mile flywheel, pilot bearing, throwout bearing (OE Sachs)
AC not installed, can be included
And a lot more I'm forgetting
Low temp thermostat & no fan. (I recommend putting a fan on it)

    Negatives
Rust on rear valance below battery
Rust behind drivers door (surface rust, about the size of a nickel)
Inner fenders edge paint is worn, possible future rust spot
    Dash squeaks a little
Radio volume dial is too close to steering wheel

Car runs absolutely perfect and it RIPS. I only don't want to keep driving it because MN winters are too harsh on the E30 chassis. If I had the room I would keep this car and track it in the summer.

Here's a short video of the car running and a few drive bys

And some junky pictures, can provide more for interested parties

This car is nice. Ive driven it and supplied 99% of the parts on it.
Drives like a solid brand new e30 with nice quiet exhaust

nice car, well worth the asking price.

What wheels are those? Are they hub centric?

Thanks! They are TR Motorsport C1s. I believe its what spec e30s run?

The TRM C1's I believe were designed specifically for spec E30's so the fit and offset are perfect. You car looks nearly identical to mine although a tad more power under the hood, haha. Gorgeous car, GLWS and a free bump.

The AC compressor was just not put on the motor when the motor was dropped in. I can include a compressor. All you would need to do is install the AC compressor and have some custom lines made. AFAIK it can all be done for under $120 if you find a good local shop that makes custom ac lines.

Some people take wire clothes hangers and fashion a makeshift line out of those, then bring it to a shop and they copy what you gave them...

Here are pics of the rust that I've been able to find. The underside of the car has been sprayed with rust protectant/bedliner and the exterior is pretty much rust free despite these two spots.

                        ttt for a good seller!

I bought his e36 M3 last year. I've only had one issue and it was the damned e36 cooling system.

                        Buy this e30!
