Hello, all! Up for sale is my 1982 320i project. I bought the car about six months ago with the intention of bringing it back to life; unfortunately, I recently lost my job so I don't have the extra income to give it the love it needs.
Overview:
- 207,xxx miles.
- m10 that is definitely seized. I haven't investigated further, but that bitch is definitely not rotating anytime soon.
- Only rust area as far as I know equates to a few finger-sized holes in the spare tire well. Please, feel free to come poke and kick at it yourself.
Other areas needing attention:
- It's an original Hennarot car, but one of its previous owners gave it a poor respray that looks very orange. No polishing this turd, it needs a proper respray.
- PO said the sunroof leaked, so he sealed it with silicon (pictured).
- Interior leaves some to be desired (dash has cracks, not all trim fastened properly, no radio, etc.).
Positive things:
- Clean title
- 5 speed
- Straight body with very little rust.
- (Sweet) turbine wheels
- Nicely installed aftermarket exhaust system.
- Breh...Hennarot, breh.
Parts included not installed:
- iS style air-dam pictured (not mounted).
- Perfectly straight front valance to replace the worn bent one currently on the car.
- Used front Koni red shocks
- iS rear sway bar.
- Old Alpine CDA-7839 head unit with some random, working speakers.
- Straight, purdy side trim.
I would like to see everything go to a good home for $700, and I'm a little hesitant to take less, but cash talks. Also, I might take cool things for my '88 iX. Mostly, I just want it to go to someone who can give this poor thing some attention.
I also have a pair of Zender side skirts and a BBS valance for it that both need work I can include for a bit more on top.
