i picked this up thinking i would put it in my 92 mtech. aside from it being the wrong color for my car, the frame is a little different. for this reason, i am going to pass it on. my loss is going to be someone else's gain.
this is not a cheap ebay type top. this one has that fancy pattern on the inside, the stitching is top notch and the canvas is the thick heavy factory type.
it came off a manual car and as such it will bolt right up to a like vehicle with only 6 fasteners. you can use it on a power top car but obviously it will only work manually. since my power top mechanism on my mtech is in good working order, i decided to just buy a new canvas top and install it myself :(
the seals on the frame are in pretty good shape. the canvas and the rear window are almost perfect. there is one tiny scuff on the window and the canvass has a little bit of dirt that i am pretty sure will wash off easily.
as you can see by the pics below, it is in amazing shape!
price is 575.00 SOLD. trust me, this is a hell of a lot cheaper(about 1/3 the price) than buying a factory quality top and having a reputable upholstery shop install it. i would be willing to trade for a black power folding top assembly in like condition(probably a needle in a hay stack)
