Well, here it is. I have only owned this car for two months. I traded my previous DD in order to save this car from a dunce. The car was not running when I traded due to needing new spark plugs and some tuning (oil change didn't hurt either). I have always dreamed of owning a 1987 is, as well as a turbo e30 - so needles to say I am sad to have this for sale so soon. I have decided to get rid of it (to an enthusiast) for a few of reasons.
1. I will kill myself in this car.
2. I work exactly 1 mile away and truthfully don't need a summer car
3. I do not have a garage and this car deserves one
So the deets.
the good:
1987 325is
Delphin grey on pearl beige sport interior
170xxx - odo stopped about 1 week after getting it running - no more than 172k on the car.

524td crank
shrick 272 cam
885 head
s50 Arrow Connecting rods
JE Pistons

Front mount 15.5" X 18" X 3.5" Intercooler
Forge BOV
Stromung Stainless Exhaust
eibach springs
bilstein shocks
(5) ix 15x7" weaves - not in the greatest condition but I still love them
15mm spacers all around
original mtech 1 385mm steering wheel
crack free dash
rear seat headrests
ski-pass rear seat
original premium sound speakers
unknown SSK - very short and notchy throw - it's pretty wonderful once you get used to it.
unknown clutch stop
almost 0 rust. - Tiny bit of rust near plate lights (pictured). Underbody/battery tray/rockers are great.
Link to Build Documentation and receipts. I also have TONS of wiring diagrams and original haltech install disk.
within the last week:
timing belt
water pump
thermostat + housing
alternator
battery
innovative wideband mtx-l gauge
rebuilt bosch 29lb injectors
8mm ignition wires
the bad:
no headunit
sunroof motor is weak - needs a little human assistance to get the job done.
The Roof. - sun damaged and has an awkward dent at the top of the right rear pillar (see pictures)
body color kidneys - Maybe that's your bag baby - but it's not mine, huge personal pet peeve about the look of the car.
drivers seat is cracking
Tach does not work - likely SI batteries.
I just drove the car 6 hours in the past two days - WHAT A BLAST! I'm much too in love with this car so I hope someone takes it while I am willing to get rid of it. It is being continuously tuned as I drive it more, but it starts/idles/runs like a top at the moment but I'm sure someone else could really dial it in. I am currently running it at 11 psi and the drive-ability is all there for everyday use. I will continue to DD this car until someone strips it away from me.
So what am I asking for this beauty?
$6500.00 obo
Found a car I want. Make me an offer I can't refuse!
I want this car to go to someone who will take care of it. This is a fantastic car that needs very little to be perfect.

- the rust. It's very minor.
