    Air Conditioning with M6x swap

Who's been able to keep air conditioning with their M60/M62/S62, etc. swap?

I've read quite a few V8 swap threads, but I'm too lazy to dig through them right now (and am procrastinating a little bit while working late).

    Thanks!

IIRC Garey, bmwtech1 (I think is the username) made a pocket in the frame rail for a compressor...

EDIT: bmwmech1, thread: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=196500 I'm looking for image and post now.

Searched majority of the thread, so far, maybe I was mistaken, here is a cutout for alternator, maybe that's what I thought of, but I do think someone did it this way.

You can have AC but you need to massage the lines by compressor for it to work. You will need the correct compressor for the engine. Them you will need to splice together the Compressor lines with the E30 lines. Most important you will need a heavy duty rad and fan combo to keep the AC running at optimal temperature. I'm going to do it on my set up.
