FS: The E30GTR. For real this time. $20,500

I think it speaks mostly for itself, but here is some info about it:

There is a whole blog about the buildup of the car which can be found here: http://newman.onyxsyndicate.com/e30gtr/e30gtr_00.htm
The car was featured on Jalopnik.com as well as in print from S3 magazine (I have some copies if you want them)
No expense was spared. I have about $45,000 invested in the car, really... plus 4 years of my time.
The car saw 500hp/400ft-lb on a MUSTANG dyno. You can probably turn up the boost and make more power. It was plenty for me.

Almost every step of the build process was documented in the blog. If you have a question, it's probably answered in there. If you have a specific question, drop me a message.

The car always draws TONS of spectators, controversy, praise, whatever.

    The good:
    All that stuff ^up there^
One of a kind... show me another. :)
The car is basically brand new. EVERYTHING has been replaced or refurbished. Motor, chassis, suspension, interior.
It's fast (boost is set around 400 whp)
    It's awesome

    The bad:
The paint job may not be everyone's taste. It's a strange color. In sunlight it looks gold. In the evening or in artificial light it looks green. I'm not going to try to explain why this happens. There are a few small imperfections in the paint. The front fenders don't match perfectly, either.
There's a puff of blue smoke from the turbo on startup.
(maybe good?) It's practically a race car. Solid engine mounts, cage, race buckets. You know the drill.
Manual crank windows don't always stay up.
When I listed it last time I said that the clutch slipped some, I think it was just glazed from doing burnouts because last couple times I had it out there was no slip.

Look at the blog or email me for more info. ctnewman @ gmail.com

Only trades I'm interested in is an OEM knucklehead motor with title.

Again, there are TONS of pictures on the blog, but here are a few (these are linked from facebook, so if they don't work, let me know)

I'm asking $20,500 (NO LOWER!) which is super reasonable.

Part it out and make money, I don't even care anymore.
Hell, the seats (3500) Wheels (3500) Dash (1000) ECU (1000) Turbo (1500) cost half what I'm selling the whole car for.... not to mention the built RB26. There are 1500 dollars alone worth of lines and fittings on this car.

I spent a full Fluids class last week reading your build thread because RB thoughts have been popping up in my head recently...

                    If I had the money...

Bring a Trailer...and list it on Jalopnik if you have not done so. Best of luck with sale, that's cheap. I'll that the Mychron 4 setup.

Still the most impressive build Ive followed on R3v. Stupid cheap price when you look at what E30s are trading for in recent months. GLWS

I drove this thing a few times and it is really an amazing car. There are so many great quality/engineered pieces that pictures do not do it justice. Truly an amazing masterpiece, GLWS!
