    For Sale: 1988 BMW 325is

Silver (lachssilber) paint over black leather, 2.5 liter straight-six engine, crack-free dash, 3.73 limited slip differential, aluminum control arms, 5 spd manual, HIDs in DEPO smileys, BMP Racing strut braces front and rear, Bilstein HD shock absorbers, 16" BBS wheels (real, not knockoffs), 5mm H&R wheel spacers, JVC HD radio and CD player (with early iPod connectivity, if that's your thing), K&N air filter with Bavarian Autosport intake kit, AC Schnitzer side skirts, Magnaflow muffler. Yakima rack with locks and key included. Always garaged, and it hasn't seen rain in years. New hubs, bearings, and brakes within the last 10,000. The valves were adjusted 3,000 miles ago and the valve cover gasket was replaced at that time. And yes, the timing belt was done a couple years and a few thousand miles ago, so it's not a ticking time bomb. Brand new battery last week. All synthetic fluids, all the time. It has 207,000 miles on the chassis, but it sure doesn't look it. The engine was replaced around 160,000 miles, and I bought it at 163,000.

I also have lots of spare parts: AC condenser, oil cooler, a couple starters, aluminum bumper, trunk lid, mirrors, grilles, springs, nearly every nut and bolt, etc. They'll go with the car if you want them. Some other spares include a spare rear subframe with differential and axles. Want a spare engine? I have one: an M20B25 in pieces. The whole kit and caboodle is included at this price.

Runs strong, has no squeaks or rattles, and no issues. I'm only the third owner (the first bought it from Delon in Salem in 1988), and I've had this car for the last 8 years. As an enthusiast (that pretty much describes all of us here, right?), I can knowledgeably discuss any particular detail you care to know about.

I do have a walk around video, including the engine running, and you can see it here: http://youtu.be/6KB8urs5KpE

    $6,500

I really hate to part with it, because it needs nothing. This was the one I didn't need when I bought it, and always said I'd never let go. But I'm starting a brewery, and a pickup would do much better for hauling kegs and equipment than my E30. If anyone is looking for a trade plus cash on my end, I'm shopping for a Toyota Tacoma Double Cab.
