Looks like it has a rebuilt title but a decent price to get into an M.

I know the car. Flood victim and major rust bucket. Car sitting outside for 15 years. Mostly complete but needs total restoration. Pictures look much better than it is. -
Like many of us here, I've had at least one eye open for years looking for a fair deal on one. I'm even more than willing to do a restoration. This one is my fav color and is almost in my backyard. On top of that it's "cheap" and fairly complete. I've thought about going for it more than a dozen times but the guy is firm on the price and when you figure the cost of getting it to be presentable (not even a show car) it doesn't make sense. Nice drivers still pop up occasionally in the low to mid 20s. Someone will desire it enough to save it. And with the ridiculous prices we're seeing out there maybe it's worth it. Just not to me.Last edited by Dukereturns; 09-20-2014, 03:18 AM.Comment

That looks pretty fuckin good for $8500. To me. Do I have $8500? No.Originally posted by Andy.BWhenever I am about to make a particularly questionable decision regarding a worryingly cheap diy solution, I just ask myself, "What would Ether-D do?"Comment

Its sold Already I think. Saw there was another listing/thread about the car in 2013 where he was trying to sell the car and he turned it in a bidding war...Comment
