    FT/WTT mk3 jetta glx vr6

want to get into the bmw world, or should i say i need to, i have a clean 1998 jetta qlx 5 speed that is very reliable and well maintained with previous receipts and carfax.

    Car has 170k on it

-Neuspeed lowering springs on bilstein struts
    -borla stainless steel catback exhaust
    -K&N cone air filter
-Shortened shifter with MOMO knob and pedals
    -early style vento grill badgeless
    -ABT side skirts
    -aftermarket radio
    -debadged

Interior is very nice with carpet and carpet floor mats. Hasn't been smoked in. Back seats are in excellent condition, passenger is in good shape too but the drivers seat has some cracks but generally in good shape, dash is painted silver. steering wheel leather is starting to come off. AC blows cold, the heat blows hot and everything works inside except for the cigarette lighter, Has a very large clean trunk with the spare donut with all its tools

Exterior is excellent for being 16 years old, under body is very clean, barley any rust, some little typical door dings and a few minor rust spot that can be fixed. The paint on the roof has some oxidation

Wheels are 15" OEM 7 spoke alloys with pirelli winter carving snow tires(50% tread left). The alloys are straight and are in good condition

Brakes/Steering, brake pads are fairly new and are in good shape, not rusty. car has not sat for a long period of time. Parking brake cables have been replaced before and it currently works, the parking brake light comes on and off. Old owner replaced steering rack and pump with new OEM parts so the power steering is solid. left lower ball joint is bad along with the right control arm bushing, but still fully functional

Engine, The engine runs smooth and strong with the 2.8l 12v vr6, i have record of some previous work done if wanted

Transmission is strong with a tight shifter (not sloppy), if your very unfamiliar with the car or you are a very agressive shifter you may get a grind at 2nd gear but i never have a problem, nor has it ever cause a problem

Suspension is riding on some neuspeed springs and bilstein struts. the front right strut bearing makes some noise when turned through full range and the front left lower ball joint is bad so there might be other creaks and groans but over all it is a very nice comfortable ride

Others things are the wiper column switch needs work(works in delay mode and can work continously if held up), drivers side rear window does not work(broken wires in the boot between door and body), and the abs light comes on intermediatley (code for right rear speed sensor). i also have a v-checker pro if a check engine light were to come on, that would be helpful.

The car will make a reliable daily driver or even a starting point to a ambitious project, car has a clean title in hand and is ready to be traded

I am looking for a e30,318i, 320i, 325i, touring, any old bmw or 3 series, throw me your offers, im not picky i just want it to be a reliable manual car
