If your headliner or sunroof panel has any any grey or black threads in the material it will not match. I was going to put this in my '87 325e daily driver but there was to much mismatch for me.Comment

Not to threadjack, but how did you get this out of the car? I have a panel to replace and it seems like the whole sunroof assembly has to be removed.
Is there a way to remove this trim assembly without removing the whole sunroof? Thanks!-Geno

No, the sunroof must be removed along with the front sunroof track assembly.Comment
