It took a hit to the side in the front, so not sure how straight it is. It also has some rust. I'd sell it pretty cheap though!

This was my buddies car and I can tell you the shell is scrap. He crashed it into a wall a few years ago during a rally. It sat since then until we just recently pulled the drivetrain out of it. Got a good look at it while doing this and the rust was so bad that when he hit the wall this thing crumbled everywhere. K member hit the pan so hard into the crank that the engine locked up, mount broke right off of the transfer case, frame rails broke towards the front where they were rusted out. Plus we dragged the thing onto his wrecker with no wheels on it. And I almost forgot when we were lifting this car off of the drivetrain with a fork lift the chain slipped and we literally dropped the entire car a few feet flat onto the ground (also with no wheels).

I pulled the nicest parts as spares for my ix and we were going to scrap the rest. I am sure there are plenty of usable parts but just a warning OP we were not gentle stripping this car so you better check over anything before you ship it out as a lot of what we left was junk. Just don't want you to waste time and money accidentally shipping parts you didn't realize were damaged.

This is not my first rodeo. It kills me to read posts like this from ebaccn26. My family has a long history of bringing great things back to life and preserving great things. As an E30 lover it just kills me and makes absolutely no sense to me how someone can smash the crap out of or cut tons of things that could have been saved. When I see how someone took a sawzaw to both front axles that retail for $800 plus each new it conveys the knowledge level and concern for quality or lack of. Yes it was in an accident, but all E30s have significant value regardless of how severe an accident they are in. It is ironic how when loading this car on our trailer we had to stop the seller multiple times from incurring more damage to valuable parts. We instead chose to be patient and preserve every valuable piece so someone could benefit from it. We have found during multiple E30 orphan rescues that a little patience and care is well worth it. The R3V community is a superb group of knowledgeable helping people. It just pains me to read a post like this from a noobie

Every part will be inspected before shipping and I will send pictures to buyers. We are involved in this community and E30’s for the long-term. Valiant attempt to turn that around. Not my car, not my call on how it was disassembled. I was simply a helping hand and I had no part in loading it for you, had I not been there to help a lot fewer parts would have been pulled and it would have been scrapped already. I simply wanted to let people know about the quality of these parts as you apparently do not know, was not an attempt to bash you in anyway. Alco asked about the shell and somehow you aren't sure if its straight? One quick look under that car and you would know it is done and saying it has some rust is putting it gently. The main thing we damaged further was the shell which was already toast and that is the only specific part I commented on because someone asked about it. You can call me a "noobie" because I do not post on this forum but I assure you I have always been an e30 enthusiast, my 325ix is one of the cleanest around and I take great pride in it.

Valiant attempt to turn what around?? We have had the car in our procession for only a few days and have not done a full inspection on all parts nor the shell. This will be done this weekend. And we will not continue to promote or sell any part without full disclosure. Your signature states "noobie" therefore you are. Maybe someday I will be able to see your "cleanest around" 325ix. Post up some pictures so we can all enjoy it.

You were clearly trying to make it seem like I am some kind of moron who doesn't care about e30's in anyway and that is certainly not the case. And you definitely were not using the term "noobie" in a lighthearted manner like in the user title. In regards to my 325ix I said "one of the cleanest around" not "cleanest around", there is a difference. I will gladly post pictures of it when I get a chance.
