Hello all, it is time to sell my Ground Control Street Touring coilover suspension setup. Uninstalled them yesterday and went back to stock suspension. They are ready to go!
Ordered them through Ground Control in February of 2014 for my 1990 325is. Came in a month later, put on brand new OEM wheel bearings and hub assembly, and had them installed. As of yesterday they have seen no more than 6,500 miles since installed.
They are in excellent condition, all parts function as intended. Very minor wear on all parts from road use, all cosmetic. The worst are the rear collars and sleeves after removing from the trailing arm bump. Will include a photo, however they are in perfect working order, collars spin from top to bottom. Spring rates are 440 front / 650 rear. Ground Control did all the modifications to the front strut tubes. This includes shortening, reinforcing, adding E30 M3 sway bar brackets, and powder coating. Quality of the work is 10/10. If there is something you would like to see, please ask.
Ride is firm but comfortable. The Koni SA's are great to play around with and an excellent shock. These coilovers are by far the most inspiring street setup I've experienced, specifically when pushing it into some corners. I was amazed at just how well they could perform with some basketweaves.
