i have these set up in an e30 presently but they are still a direct bolt in to any e36 and perhaps other models. they are in fantastic shape. the leather is pretty close to perfect. the seat heaters work and so does the power function on both seats. the only flaw is the plastic seat belt holder on both sides is a bit broken as they are on pretty much all of these seats. i understand that this piece can be purchased quite reasonably from the dealer. these seats are extremely comfortable. i am a 6 foot tall guy with a 34" waist. i find them to be much more comfy that e30 sport seats. i am selling because i found a set of recaro's that will look a little more period correct in the build i am doing.

I also have a set of custom seat brackets. these will make these seats a direct bolt in to any e30. they are milled from solid 3/8" x 1.5" flat stock. each bar runs from the front of the seat rail to the back. there are 4 pieces. two for each seat. they are pretty much hidden beneath the seat and are difficult to notice when installed.

i have a custom made wiring harness that goes from the e30 fuse box to both seats to operate the power function and also the seat heaters. i actually used the original wiring from the harness of the donor car. you can wire it up to the little aux fuse holder on the side of your e30 fuse box.
