    e36 to e34 pan swap ?

I'm in the middle of swapping the pan on a m50 from a e36 to an e34. I have a couple of questions the bracket that's bolted to the main cap that holds the pick up tube. I know it has to be removed but I can't find the torque specs for the main cap. And secondly the windage tray that's bolted on a e36 motor. Do you leave that off since the e34 pan has one made in to it. Thanks in advance

I left the s50 stock one in and drilled out the one in the oil pan. Everything was pretty straight forward.

you could do it the easier way... lol take the motor one out and leave the pan one in.

^ I was modifying my pan anyway for better oil pick up, so it was simple to do while I had everything out on the table. It doesn't matter either way though neither is more beneficial then the other.

I mean both work, but makes sense for you.
