Recaro LS-B - Very clean - Perfect for E30

Selling a set of Recaro LS-B seats in very nice condition. Technically, these are original to select VW MK2 16v cars from '89 to '92. The most wonderful seats I've ever sat in, hold you in firmly, but not so tight that they're uncomfortable for a daily and hard to get in or out of. Trust me, I have a set of black leather E30 M3 seats and these are in a different league. Lighter weight, too.
Pictures detail any flaws. There are few small burns and some wear on the driver's outer bolster/piping. They do tend to "auto recline" as they all do, new bushings under the recline knob fixes that. Most people find garden hose rubber washers do the trick. The bottom cushion support webbing on the driver's seat is homemade with burlap, utilizing the original wire rods. Came out well, works well. New OEM Recaro webbing can be bought from the UK for $100 each. Maybe 8/10 condition, these seats are not easy to find this clean these days. I spend a lot of time in the VW forums, I have a pretty solid gauge on these.
These are the big bolster, power tilt versions which mean they utilize the standard 6 bolt Recaro mounting system. In other words, any adapters you might use to mount aftermarket Recaros in a BMW will work with these seats. The VW power seat bases are available separately, but they likely aren't going to do BMW guys any good.
Price is $550 cash.
