Analog clock in place of OBC

    E30 analog clock:
I have an obc for my car. If I were to get an analog clock that would go in the OBC (popular in germany/britain) how would it hook up?

I know it's just a clock, so is there just a +/- hookup? or would I have to use my stock E30 obc wiring harness. How does it work.

You need a different harness. It's the same one that's used for the basic digital clock. There are 4 wires that go to it.

I've also read that the harness for the power mirrors works as a donor if you've got an extra one of those.....

hmm, okay, but how do I know which wires go where if I do use that donor harness?

Here is a picture of it. I'm thinking of buying it off of ebay, so the seller sent me a pic. Does anybody know which pins go where?

By the way, you were right, there are 4 pins!

I have an analog clock in my car. It is great. I can let you know how the wires match up. It isn't too difficult.

There are markings on the back of the clock for each wire:
            30 ----- power
            31 ----- ground
            58k ----- power for light
            31g ----- ground for light

you can figure out which wire goes where if you lookk at the wiring diagram in the bentley manual.
