    new N62 engine

I was looking for something on a mb forum and they were talking about a new supercharged v8 that will be in the 7 series to have it compete against the Merc S55. Anyone heard about this?

Its the Alpina B7, 500hp. They are the first to S/C a valvetronic motor.

I have a pdf of it running around here somewhere, if I find it I'll post it.

whats with alpina and automatics. That's dying for a good six-speed manual, its a 7 series though so I guess no-dice.

wasnt the turbo e30 alpina named the b7?

isnt that just the more modern M62 with a supercharger?

No, the N62 is a valvetronic motor. M62 is not.
