    Alpina B6 2.8 Biturbo

Not my car, but I snapped a few pictures of this amazing car on Saturday and thought I would share them.

    It's a 1986 Alpina B6 2.8 "Biturbo" that has a twin-turbo M30 engine.

The following pictures are not mine.

I can add that it was pretty fast. The E60 M5 was left behind in a could of smoke on the straights.

That is bad ass! It's sweet that it could blow away an M5. That Alpina pinstriping just looks so awesome on that car for some reason, more so than other Alpina BMW's I've seen. I think I would take that over an evo III m3.

          2.8 m30? I thought m30s were all 3.0 and up?

            Yes I think it's a 3.5 M30, but the car is still a B6 2.8... You get the point.

No, its a M30B28. Big fucking block for big fucking boost.

(That car > my car) ^ Canada. Back when Alpina still had power hungry cars.

And that pinstriping looks good because that car has 360hp and 380ft-lbs
              Im now E30less.

great machinery ! I love Alpina cars!

I find it that e60 M5s do not like short, twisty race tracks where they can't flex their muscles. I had no problems passing 2 of them over and over again at Pocono BMW track day few weeks ago

what kind of tires are these? ADVANs ?

Surpass an E60 M5? Holy shaaaat!! That thing must be quick...

What a sick car indeed...twin turbo!

Look what else I found in that linked thread.

I would continue to link other hot cars in that thread but I'd be here all day. Its like Alpina mania in that link.

Cool cars man, thanks for the link!
