It was a calm saturday afternoon. 1:13 to be exact. i pulled up to the owners house in my buddies truck. they opened the garage door and there she was. my first e30. A 1986 E30 325es. 5-speed. the front end was ripped apart after the owner (a middle-aged women) hit a car. there is slight damage to the passenger side frontal area. she originally wanted to get 200 dollars for the car, but after 10 minutes of "well's" and "hhmmm's" i talked her down to a tremendously low 50 dollars. 50 dollars. dont get me worng, this car will be a little bit of work. but besides the front end the car is in pristine condition. there is one rip in the drivers seat and the seat doenst slide forward or backward. i will ask about that in a different part of this awesome forum. anyways. here are the pics, and a few brief descriptions. feedback is always welcome, and ideas are greatly appreciated.
p.s. what is the technical color of the paint? thanks.
the towage home (30 miles of riding the brakes, one of the scariest rides of my life.

my first car to have 3 pedals, i love it

me by my new ride!

which one do i chose? (well the BMW of course)

both of my cars

loads of miles, and a very low redline (from what i am used to)

came with alternative rim caps (which one looks better?)

i absolutely love the stock rims

the carnage (its ok all i need is the radiator and a few other parts)

i just thought this looked tight as hell

it came with everything for the front end (except for the hood and the grill that goes with the headlights)

after a wash and one front quarter reinstalled

i am surprised at the condition of the interior (does it look good, by your standards for 50 dolalrs?)

another one of the guages

alright. the women said it hadnt run in two years. so after i got it home and cleaned it out and looked oevr everything i bought a battery (which cost more than the car) and started it. i know risky, but i had to know. it literally started right up. very little hesitation. i let it run for around 5-10 seconds, heard no strange knocks or pings and shut it down. so i am very pleased. though i need a radiator and a hood, hopefully there is a site where i can find one. thanks
