The rear sway bar chassis mount is broken. The piece of bracket where the nut is welded to broke off. What are my options for fixing it ?
Both IE and Turner reinforcements suggests that theirs has to be done before the mount is broken. Will I still be able to use one of these ? What kind of repair is required, is it a simple case of weld in a replacement tab with a nut or is it more complex than that ?
The car is a '87 325i - Suspension Technique's sway bar.
