Looking for a replacement antenna and came accross this. Has anyone used this before? Or something similar? Cost is around $40, think it's worth it?
This is a complete kit and has everything need to to a custom install on the roof of an Audi 5000, 80, Coupe, ECT; VW Golf, Jetta or Passat; or the quarter panel a Mitsubishi Eclipse, Diamonte....Kit includes antenna, gaskets and O-ring, 15 foot antenna cable with power wire. Installation requires you remove the factory antenna and replace it with this one, on a power antenna equipt car the antenna will plug into the factory wiring, on a non'power antenna car you will need to run the supplied cable to the back of the radio for the amplifer power (VW and Audi will need an adapter to connect to the factory radio). The install takes about 20 to 30 min. The mast is 7" in length and sits at a 60 degree angle. The antenna and mast have a matt black finish that matches OEM styles. This antenna has awesome reception and a look that no one else has.
