Trade?? My H&R OE Sports for your H&R Sports

Got a set with about 10k on them, on the car when I bought it. Looking to trade them for a set of H&R sports as I'd like a ride height that is a little lower. pics of the car as it sits with these springs, here they are:

Are they the same stiffness / spring rate as the sports? I see that in BMP they are listed as a 1.0 inch drop, whereas the "sports" are listed as 1.3 inches.

Also, are you running 14 inch wheels? 14s or 15s, whatever they are they look sexy...

Theyre the same spring rates as the sports but provide slightly less drop, but Id say its more than just an inch. I have em on my car with Bilstein HD's and absolutely love the setup.

Those look to be euroweaves. 15X7.

they are e30 m3 15x7 wheels :)

Maybe it's the koni shocks that make my car sit high.

No idea of the spring rates, they came on the 318is when I bought it.

And for what it's worth, I don't think it looks high at all. I think it looks basically perfect for actually driving in that picture, unlike some on the forum that look like they probably bottom out any time the road isn't flat.

yup, i've had the springs and Bilstein HD's for two years already, and for a city environment they're the ideal setup.

no, these sit higher. the sports will give you more than an inch.

a friend of mine (febi guibo) has the sports, and its CLEARLY visible that his car sits lower.

The sports will sit higher. Ive compared my car with another 318is running sports and his has got to be like 1/2 inch lower.

that cars got an s50 so the ride hight is a little different than with the m42.

I just sold my m42 to a guy that had H&R sports, not the OE sports like i have. Even with half a motor in his car it say way lower than mine does. My car looks like a 4x4 in the front. Maybe I'll take some more pics today to show you guys.
