    FS: 91 325i

    Miles:174*** VIN:wbaaa2312mec54948 PRICE: SOLD Location:SoCal (909)
This Lagoon green metallic was only offered to 1991 e30 models but merely as a special order from Germany. 500 325i coupes came to the U.S. all being automatics and most being fully loaded. I have been into e30’s for about 7 years now and have only spotted one other lagoon e30; this is saying a lot for living in a dense populated area full of e30’s such as Southern California. The paint is in beautiful condition with just a few small scratches that are pictured. I have a picture included that shows some sort of fixed damage on the rear valence as well. It was cared for its whole life and the paint really shows the good nature it was brought up in. Green is an amazing color for an e30’s, after owning this car I know if I ever build up an old BMW, lagoon with be on the top of the list to choose from.

The tan interior is just as beautiful as the exterior. When I bought this car the interior was very clean but the leather non sport seats that it had originally had, where cracked and torn from age. I recently found a whole mint interior and put it in the car. The seats came from a car that had been in an accident a few months ago and AAA insurance gave the seats a “new condition” rating when the car was being accessed. It is a good achievement, and I am glad I got the front and rear seats and they really do show zero signs of use. The door panels and headliner look just as good as the seats. The carpet does have a hole on the drivers side from wear however the car will come with floor mats that are pictured and they hide every imperfection. The leather steering wheel has minimal wear and the factory shift knob, e-brake handle, and e-brake boot were all replaced with new parts. The dash has a small crack that is pictured but everything else about it looks good.

I have driven an automatic e30 with a 3.73 differential and I know the 4.10 that came in the 1991 e30’s really makes the car come alive and it makes me realize some automatics were done right. The car does have a limited slip differential that makes no noice and is strong. The motor is smooth and powerful and the exhaust still has a nice factory sounding growl. I had the car sitting for a few weeks and there was no leaking on the ground and when the car is running there is no leaking. It doesn’t burn any oil and the oil that you put in this motor stays in.

Everything that is power on this car works flawlessly: locks, windows, mirrors, and sunroof. To my knowledge every light works and the little OBC works nicely. The power steering is smooth and the steering rack has no leaking issues. The ABS does its job with braking and I just checked the brake pads and rotors and everything checks out. The stock tape deck needs the alarm code entered into and without that it won’t turn on. I have the code but i am away from the car at college, so i will just give the code if i dont see the car before i sell it. The 5 CD changer in the trunk does work when the code is entered but it’s a pain and getting a whole new unit is recommended by me. The car came with the premium sound system which includes tweeters in front and better speakers in the rear, so with just a new head unit the sounds will be nice. The fog lights work and OEM ellipsoid headlights are in this car instead of the “sealed beam” ones that are found on this year. The tires seem to be in great condition and have lots of tread left. The spare in the trunk is not a “bottle cap” style wheel that is on this car, it is just a steal rim. This spare does have a very nice brand new winter tire on it so I kept it in there but I have an extra bottle cap wheel with a decent tire that I can change out during the sale if the buyer wants it.

I got my hands on a full set of suspension from the same car where the seats came from. This setup is all BMW parts and under two years old. I replaced the whole front suspension with the new parts and these included struts, springs, tie rods, control arms, control arm bushings, shock mount with bearing, sway bar with end links and bushings, and the entire assembly with new bearings. The rear just got the struts and strut bushings. This car really stiffened up with these parts and the new control arm bushings really make the steering sturdy.

The AC works but it has lost its charge, it does not blow cold.

Car fax WILL flag this car. I have no clue why but in the early 90's 1000 milles got rolled back. I dont see this as a problem and it sounds more like an error some ones part, not an attention rollback because it was 1000 miles on a all ready low mileage car. Everything else will be clear.

If someone is wanting to buy this car and drive it on a long road trip let me know. I have lots of spare parts and even though i am confident that it will make it on a road trip, i will throw in a box full of parts that could just fail without warning. Things like, fuel pump, relays, alternator, belts, hoses...

I have pictures of every body panel if you want me to email you some more.

I am sure I am forgetting something but please feel free to give me a call on my cell phone at 909 557 4750. My email is the 2nd best way and that is dustinwherrmann at gmail dot com

Very beautiful color. Pictures do it no justice. I've got one lined up to buy whenever Rich decides to sell. :D

bump, looks like a 5 speed swap will have to be in the future. No love for the auto.

Hmmm, any negotiations down in price? My fiance is looking for an automatic DD, since shes getting an f'ing Z28, not sure if $3750 is practical for a DD though. Definitely NEED an auto in this case. PM or email with more pics would be cool too, along with maybe a detailed list of whats wrong with the exterior, besides the rear valance, and the 1 scratch.

Lots of these, three in my town alone. Nice 92 325i stick is for sale at 6.3K with 110K on clock. Very clean example.

With Ronal LS and simple suspension this car would be very sweet. Bump for great paint.
