Sunday morning PDX caravan to XXX

So i suggest the mall 205 HOOTERS parking lot around 6-7am depending how long it will take us to meet up with the WA guys so we can take up the road to the picnic. This is up for revision if somoene sees otherwise, but i think HOOTERS is the optimal spot and it takes a dummy to get lost trying to find it.

I would say that we meet in North Vancouver. I dont want to drive out to 205 just to go to Seattle. dur

Damn tony you beat me to the punch. last year we met up at Portland meadows. which was cool but kinda tucked away. ill take your idea and modify it. How about this:

      meet/start at: Hooters Jantzen Beach
      11875 N Jantzen Dr
      Portland Or, 97217

7am SHARP, depart at 7:30 (that means be gassed up and ready to go by 7:30) theres a chevron right next to this spot.

one hour and ten minutes time north to

      McDonalds Chehalis Wa
      120 Kirkland Rd
      NapaVine Wa, 98532

should arrive no later than 8:45. just a quick pit/bathroom/fuel stop. there are two gas stations in the immediate area. depart at 9:10

one hour forty two minutes north to

      XXX Drive In
      98 Ne Gilman Blvd
      Issaquah Wa, 98027

      final stop, duh.

open to changes/suggestions. i know last year there was 3 stops 1 rest stop,1 in yelm and 1 at griots garage. but i dunno anyone at griots and cant remember where we met in yelm either so. also this way the time to meet is a lil later for all that hate getting up REALLY early. plus the spots have fuel, restrooms readily available.

      discuss.

north vancouver would work, but the only place i can think of is where i5 and 205 come together, kind of a pain to get to and back out of. theres food and gas nearby but more of a hassle. plus we have to consider the salem crew and where they are coming from etc.

can anyone implement a stop somewhere near yelm? or south tacoma? so we can meet up with that area's crew. i dont know the area up there.

I would make all those times about 45min-1hr earlier if you will want to use any of the wash/cleaning stuff setup at Griot's. I should have the wash bays, Speed Shine, etc setup around 8:30.

Which ones? The ones I listed from last year? Or the ones smonkbmw listed for this year? I like leaving P town at 6-6:30ish, in case we run into any problems on the way up, we have a little bit of a window.

I was talking the times from last year. Just to give you guys a heads up I actually think I am going to open up the wash area around 7am if there is interest. This will allow more people to clean up their cars previous to leaving. I am also going to have donuts and juice avaiable for everyone that shows, so lets start getting a count.
