Posting this up here for the seller since I decided it wasn't the right project for me at this time.

Details:
- 1992 318iC
- Working Air Conditioning.
- 5-Speed
- PERFECT front vinyl seats.
- 144,000 Miles
- Manual Top w/ Zip-Out window.
- Cool OEM-looking Tonneau Cover.
- Full Car Cover also.
- 16x7" BBS RS-003's with Kumhos (I'd estimate around half life left in the tires)
- Includes Dinan CAI (installed) and Dinan chip (not installed)
- Two Owners (She's the second owner)
This is 99.9% of the "bad" things. Most are minor fixes for us shadetree mechanics:
- LCA bushings are shot.
- Diff bushing is shot.
- P/S hoses leaking @ reservoir.
- Shock Mounts are GONERS.
- Center Seam on rear seat is ripped.
- OBC on the fritz.
- Clutch feels off. Could be fluid, could be throwout bearing. Could be clutch itself. Either way clutch and brake fluid should be flushed.
- Non-Stock muffler sounds like shit.
- Door brakes messed up.
- Driver's door lock cylinder shot.
- Passenger door pocket cracked.
- One bumper scuff.
- One missing fog delete plate.
- Dented rear valance.
- Side trim sagging.
- Battery leaking slightly.
- All 4 shocks leaking slightly.
- Crankcase vent hoses cracked.
- Belts cracked.
- Two small exhaust leaks (could be patched with a welder).
- Nail in LF tire.
The paint on the thing is SWEET though. Breathtaking how clean it is considering it looks 100% original to me. With a LIGHT CUT rubbing compound (not a heavy cut like most of our E30's need) and some Meguiar's DACP, this car would shine like brand new.
And the 16" BBS RS 003's are rare. Very rare. I paid over $2,000 for a set in good shape last year; these ones are in need of polishing and repainting of the centers, but they come with centercaps and the funky funny looking BBS wrench. Spare in the trunk is a steelie.
It's a good project and especially with the wheels, a good value. If I had the time to do the work (I would be buying it if not for the clutch issue) it would be my car.
If you're interested, call the seller directly. Her name is Eva and her number is (760) 632-8055.
