    5spd 325is FS/T, PNW!

$2500 OBO, price is flexible and I am open to trades of greater value (I add cash), something rear wheel drive, manual and fun to drive not worth more than 6k, another E30 would be great.

I have a 1987 325is for sale. located in Gresham, OR. The car has nearly 220,000 miles on it and still runs strong and does not burn any oil. Power windows and sunroof work, the sunroof sometimes needs assistance to open when it pops up, but opens sliding back and closes on its own. The paint is decent, but has rock chips up front. The body has a few dings as expected on a car with 220 thousand miles. The seats are sport seats with a few tears but are good enough to live with, the passenger seat works perfectly, the drivers seat tilt does not adjust but it still tilts to let passengers into the back(the tilt is not needed as the tilt is already stuck at the ideal level, if you want a gangster lean your out of luck though). The bench in the back has no tears or cracks. Door cards are good, dash is crack free, OBC works fine but needs the back light replaced. The stereo is a sony mp3 deck that is wired with an headphone input, I use my ipod in the car. The speakers are all after market and I believe they are quality (previous owner installed). its all wired through an after market amp (1000 Watt) and has the potential to sound good if somebody took the time to play with the settings to get it all adjusted, it used to sound great when I put the amp in but now the sound is not as full. The Limited slip is still in place and makes no noise, redline diff fluid installed in the last 2,000 miles. The car shifts into all gears and drives well. 3,000 miles ago new brake rotors were installed all around, new pads were installed all if around and new shoes for the e-brake were installed. Two falcon Ziex 512 tires were installed about 2,000 miles ago and look new, the other two tires are at about 30% left. The exahust is stock and relatively new, replaced by the previous owner.

The car does have a few issues though. The door locks have their little trick to make them work, it locks from either door but only unlocks from the passenger side. The front valence is of an unknown variety and might be a garden special, in addition to that it is broken. Get an early model is valance and problem solver. The ac is present but does not work at all and a recharge might do it some good, but the windows have been working just fine for me. The car is equipped with cruise control but the controls for it are broken off and missing, the cruise unit is still under the hood though. The factory jack is missing, but the spare tire is present on matching factory 'is weaves. There are probably a few more little things that im not mentioning, but its nothing that affects drivability.

      Wow, looks great.

I have a buddy here that wants a car like mad...any ideas how the suspension pieces are? CABs, RSMs, RSFBs, etc?

Can you bring it to Keiths house on Saturday?

Do you by chance speak spanish?

      Luke

To be honest the suspension is probably a little tired. The car still drives great and I am not worried about it falling apart on me though, no vibrations at high speeds or anything like that, steering still feels fine and responsive.

No hablo espanol. I do speak a little German if that helps.

sorry, I don't know who Keith is or where he lives.

The AC is pretty useless right now, I dont know if a recharge will fix it or not but it looks like everything is still in place.

T.B. ? throwout bearing? I am not even sure what to look for as far as the throwout bearing, i guess that would just be vibrations/noises from the gearbox? As far as I know can tell it is just fine.

Differential is a 3.73 LSD that i just drained and replaced with Redline about 3 months ago.

Shit, man...I forgot to update you.

The Mexican neighbor dude was thinking since he knows I got Kims '89 325i for $500 that he could too.

I told him $500 BMWs generally are either a POS or broken or both...but I don't speak spanish.

In the mean time, the rear TA bushings are pretty shot, but everything else passed inspection (on a rack, guys) gracefully. This would be a great start on a project. Far cleaner than mine was when I started...

me? hope not. I cant find a decent E30 in my area though. I want a car with NO RUST. Ripped interior, trashed engine, etc is fine, but a good shell is a must.

Sorry, I am not looking to travel to Wisconsin and not really interested in having a Porsche.

                              Thanks anyway though.
