I bought this two weeks ago as a project car and my wife is having nothing to do with it so it needs to go. engine and transmission are in great shape, as is the diff, although the diff bushing is worn out so there’s a clunk when shifting. On the interior, the comfort seats either need re-upholstered or replaced, and the carpet needs a good out of car cleaning. The glove box is missing. The fuel gauge works intermittently, and the knee panel (~$60) is missing. from a rust standpoint, the firewall, footwells, rocker panel, and pinch welds are all free of major rust with only minor surface rust on the pinch welds. The trunk pockets have minor non structural rust. The left pocket has minor surface rust that’s easily reachable. The right pocket has more rust, and I haven’t removed the battery tray but pushing with an awl from the underside yields no weak spots or punch-throughs. the car was in a minor front-end accident in 2006 (long before I owned it), and likely needs a new front valance. The radiator support was hammered back into place, but appears mostly mostly cosmetic. There is no visible damage to the firewall or the tub supports under the front fenders. this is a mechanically sound car with need for some body work and tlc.
