<title>Best early morning E30 canyon route near LA without heavy traffic?</title>
			<link>https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/forum/regional-forums/gatherings-regional-discussion/california/10161229-best-early-morning-e30-canyon-route-near-la-without-heavy-traffic</link>

<description>I’ve been driving my E30 around Southern California for a few months now, and I’m looking for a good early morning canyon route near Los Angeles or Orange County that’s still enjoyable without dealing with a ton of traffic or cyclists.

I usually head out around 6–7 AM on weekends and prefer roads with smooth pavement, decent scenery, and a few technical corners rather than just long straight sections. Angeles Crest is fun, but parts of it can get crowded pretty quickly after sunrise.

Does anyone have recommendations for lesser-known routes that are still worth the drive in a mostly stock E30? Bonus points if there’s a good coffee stop nearby where other BMW people tend to gather.</description>
